Possible issue leading to reboots on game

Greetings,

I want to hear out different perspectives on this problem as I am moving on the diagnostics. Here is the issue that I am facing, my system sometimes reboots when launching either Witcher 2 or 3 but seems fine with other games. I am trying to isolate the possibility of hardware issues by running stress tests on components before moving onto reinstalling Windows and everything else.

It could be a PSU/GPU/Ram/drivers problem.

Specs and stress tests performed since issue appeared:
Fx-6300 @ 4.3 (Prime95 3-4 hours stable) on Cryorig H7
Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P
Antec HCG-850m
R9 290 ref. stock clock (furmark-Unigine Heaven stable)
16 gbs ram. (18+ hrs of memtest 86 with 3 passes and P95 blend stable)

Timeline:

Oct 3rd: System completed and OC'ed: late summer/fall of 15
Dec 5th: Witcher 2/3 purchased and played throughout the whole month of Dec no issues
Jan 7th: Radeon 15.12 driver update
Jan 9th: added 2x4 gb identical ram as the original 2x4 gbs (witcher3 continued to work fine after)
Jan 12th: Radeon 16.1 Hotfix update, Win10 update, witcher3 patch.
Jan 12th: First crash. Witcher 3 launch froze system twice and 3rd time and on the system rebooted every launch instead.
Jan 12th: Rolled back to Radeon 15.12. Reboot stopped in witcher3, loaded and played fine but witcher 2 launch rebooted once.
Jan 13th: Prime95, furmark, heaven, and memtest86 passed)

1. From experience, any opinions about the possible causes?

2. I want to eliminate PSU as a possible cause, how would a stress it? ( don't care to get DMM or replace the PSU. Perhaps P95 + heaven together?)

I want to think that it is a software/driver issue, but we'll see.

Thanks,
Ben

That was my initial thought, so I tried it already. The results were the same. Also, the fact that the new Ram worked for 3 days on everything and passed memtest86 seems to suggest otherwise.

update: Just passed Prime95 SmallFFTs/blend while also running unigine heaven, thus pointing away from PSU.

Yeah, I would normally think it is the psu, however, this is a brand new Antec HCG 850m by Seasonic. Also, the reboots are precisely repeatable in odd conditions, such as right after the end of the witcher2 intro cinematic but not any other high power draw moments in games or stress tests.
