Hi, I've had this monitor for a little over half a year now and I use it primarily to play my PS4 Pro on. The monitor always says "HDR: Enabled" if I'm using my PS4, or "HDR: Emulated" if I use it with my PC, but lately I've noticed that by default it seems to use a fairly dull colour setting (the image looks darker than it should with a noticeable grey/brown tint) until I hit the HDR/B.I.+ button on the bottom right of the monitor at which point the picture becomes much brighter and the colours more vibrant... but it will often revert back to the duller setting after a seemingly random interval (sometimes seconds, sometimes minutes, sometimes hours) until I hit the HDR button again.

I was just wondering if anyone has run into similar issues or has any idea what might be causing it, and how (if at all) I might be able to fix it. Looking through the settings in the monitor's menu I couldn't see anything that I think would be causing it, and I can also get the picture to switch to it's brighter setting by switching between Cinema/normal HDR in the picture mode tab.

Thanks in advance for any help 🖖

Solution
When you use HDR and B.I.+ sensor, the sensor will adjust the picture quality based on the ambient lighting around your area. This is likely what you're seeing, so if you prefer sustained HDR brightness, I'd recommend turning off B.I.+ on the OSD.
