Possible Memory Upgrade Please HELP!!!!

I need some advice I am waiting to to a major upgrade on my system(mobo&cpu) for the Intel |LGA 2011 to come out.

However I have the opportunity to get 16GB of Corsair Dominator 1600mhz for $160. Do you think I will have any compatibility issues with this ram and the new mobo for the Intel LGA 2011

I'd wait for RAM that's released in conjunction with LGA 2011. It will support a quad-channel architecture and the word on the street is that is will want even lower voltage DDR3. What do you use your computer for?

I mostly use it for gaming. And are you saying that it will require/support DDR4?

And I believe that the Corsair Dominator supports quad chammel

You have no need of 16 or even 8GB of RAM. There is no memory out there that supports quad channel, as that architecture has yet to be implemented. And DDR4 isn't due out for a couple years, LGA 2011 will be DDR3 only, for a good while. I'm holding off on a RAM upgrade until after LGA 2011 comes out, as I will be upgrading to the i7 3820 if it's all it's cracked up to be.
