I have a question and will try to make it as brief yet explainitory as possible. I was connecting an led strip to my case when I plugged the 4 pin female on the strip to the 4pin male on the PSU. When the power came on, there was a short pop, some smoke and two melted wires on the adapter connecting the case fan and 4 pin male to the PSU.
In short, my question is while every thing seems to be functional since, is there a possibility damage was done to the mobo,cpu and or GPU? Namely damage that will eventually make itself apparent? My main concern is the GPU, as it's a gtx1080.
