Right now I have a amd a8 6600k which I cheaped out on when I first built my pc. It just doesn't perform as well as I would like and when I ask around for what to upgrade people always suggest my cpu. I was thinking about upgrading to the motherboard and cpu in the link above. Just wondering if there is anything that performs better around the same price mark.
Also, soon i'm getting a new 1440p 144hz monitor. I've got my display port cable and I'm wondering with the build linked above would I be able to play the likes of BF4 at medium settings and GTA V with a good frame rate with the new monitor? I could upgrade my GPU sometime next year if not.
