Possible PCI-E Slot Problem

Is there any way to check if the PCI-E port is functioning correctly? I keep getting strange flickers and graphical anomalies in games. Thanks!

It is possible that your GPU is shot not slot.

Is there a possibility that it is the port? Because I do have a new GPU coming soon.

Yeah there is.
Try blowing in it to clean the dust that is maybe there and try reseating gpu aswell.
