I have an issue where I think that my USB ports are "resetting". I have a keyboard with backlighting, which I do not use (the backlighting, that is). Every 5-10 minutes, the keyboard lights will flash erratically for a second or two, the keypresses are not registered in my program, and then it will repeat 40 or 50 of whatever key I pressed last. It would look something like:

I stop pressing keys when I see the lights flash, a second later comes the repeating characters. This is especially troublesome when the key is backspace or delete!
I have a second wired backlit keyboard and the problem is identical. I do not see any issues with flash drives, wireless internet adapter, or wireless mouse (that I can tell)
I have tried multiple ports (only USB 3.0) on the back of the computer case.
The motherboard is a Gigabyte 377861 GA-Z77X-UD3H LGA 1155 Z77 ATX Intel Motherboard, installed Aug 2013.
