Hello

I currently own a PSU ( Nidus 500W ) and i´m having some problems
This psu is certified from cybernetics.
I don´t have any problems regarding PC instability like shutdowns , BSODS or whatever.
But since i´ve bought my PC ( 1 year ago) i´ve always experienced a weird problem...
Sometimes when toggling the light in my room , the RGB in my keyboard sometimes flashes for a brief period.
It is not always and doesn´t seen to follow a pattern.
I´ve swapped outlets , tried using a different USB port in the mobo , tried using my laptop to try to reproduce the issue , even tried my PS4 to reproduce the issue and it doesn´t happen.
I´ve even swapped lights and it still happens
One thing to notice is that if i unplug my PC and put it back again it solves the issue
But upon turning the PC and using it and then turning it off the issue comes back.
I don´t know what else to do , is this a PSU problem?
Or can be my keyboard or the issue is in my house?
This is not a setting in the motherboard bios since i´m using the defaults
Any help is appreciated
Thank you

Actually reviewed as a decent option for value in mind and for it's market.

It seems to me that if they only thing going on is a perceived flicker as you turn off the light, and no other issue is presenting or causing problem this is best ignored?
If you consider the line noise enough of an issue to deal with it a UPS/Line conditioner may help.

Overall review conclusions even from such professional as Aris are generally not worth looking at as it all relative. Good value if it costs like 30-40$ and will be used with cheap APU system ? Perhaps. For anything else, not so much.
Hard to say what's really happening in this scenario but it definitely doesn't look good. Perhaps smth related to your mains configuration, i'm not an electrician or engineer tho to say what exactly and a bad PSU probably isn't the main cause here.

That's pretty much garbage level PSU, what are your PC specs ?
I have a b360 asus gaming plus br i5 9400f gtx 1060 8gb ram

I´ve never noticed it before
I´ve tried to reproduce it using my PS4 and my laptop and it doesn´t happen
All outlets in my room do this
I´ve searched a bit and a possible cause was that it can be a poor led light quality.
Sometimes when toggling the light it causes a surge.
I wouldn´t even detect this , the rgb in the keyboard made me notice otherwise a almost invisible problem
Don´t know if it is true though

Thanks

Conclusion : it's something weird going on with your lights and/or mains plus your garbage PSU that can't cope with this smth weird (voltage drop / transients) which degrades 5VSB quality and your keyboard freaks out. I insist that you should replace this PSU.
