I have an old Laptop, a Sony PCG-71912L. it has a pentium B940 processor.
It's bad. I know. Don't worry I don't use this as my daily driver. This computer has been sitting in my closet for like 5 years if not longer.
But I was wondering. Could I turn this thing into a server?
I know it wouldn't be pretty. I would have external HDDs coming out and going everywhere.
That's not the point of it being beautiful or anything like that. I would like to know if it would be functional. Could I use it to store movies? Books? Games? How about saving game data? Pulling up processes?
I just wanted to know what TH users think. 😀
