Possible temporary fix to hardware reserved memory.

So I have been having issues with hardware reserved memory lately, and after a recent crash I searched it up, and I found this site. And basically I ran the stuff it said and low and behold I Don't have all that memory hardware reserved. This may only be a temporary fix to the problem, I am yet to find out, but let's hope it stay's alright.

so it's suggesting do a memcheck and an SFC scan. Hope that works. If neither of these found anything then nothing has changed.

The thing that did anything for me was actually the memory diagnostic tool, I didn't do anything when it was going and it just seemed to work.

It's a diagnostic tool, it will tell you either you have a memory problem, or you don't, it will not fix anything.

I didn't press anything, I wasn't in the room so I didn't see what happened but when I got back it was just on the lock screen and my memory has been hardware reserved since which has been the problem.

memory works or doesn't, you can't fix it, any changes that might make it 'better' would have to be done in bios by increasing voltage, or loosening timings.

50:50 your problem will reappear.

And this can indeed fix things, but the OP said nothing happened here.
