Question Possible to overclock i7-2600k using stock dell mobo?

I just bought an i7-2600k, and was wondering if it was possible to overclock it using the stock dell optiplex 990 motherboard through xtu?

I'd speculate the odds of Dell leaving overclocking options in their shipped BIOS versions for a production system at...

pretty much ....well, none.


But, just in case...

Feel free to search your BIOS options, however, as they are normally much more limited than with typical Asus/MSI boards, etc...

SHould not take long to step thru the 5 options with 3-4 sub options in each category....

I have an optiplex 990 sitting in my basement. Didn't know they came with K series CPUs.

Brand motherboards generally have no over-frequency options.😕
