Hello, I was recently thinking about building my own computer for gaming after being stuck with this HP Omni 100 All-In-One PC for a few years. My question is this: would it be possible to repurpose the Omni 100 and use it as a monitor for my new computer? I tried opening it up and looking for some form of video input but I was unable to find one (I'm inexperience though, so I may just have missed it).

The HD monitor is just about the only decent part of this computer, so being able to reuse it would be great, especially considering how expensive a good monitor can be.

Unless that monitor has video inputs the no there is no way to use it as a stand alone monitor.

It is mostlikely built just like a laptop but with a bigger screen so in the same way there is really no connections for using it as a stand alone monitor.

I had a the same question for a Sony SVL241, dead hard drive,
What an absolute waste if not being able to reuse a lovely screen.
