Possible Unwanted Changes From CPU Unparking Program

I unparked my CPU cores this week using this program http://coderbag.com/Programming-C/CPU-core-parking-manager-v3. I was then was then told it was a bad idea so I un-unparked them and forgot about it. Then on sunday around 1am I think WEI ran and something I found said this should only happen if I change my PC setup. Since it did should I be worried about the unparking program doing other things to my computer that were unwanted?

You should be able to do that in BIOS, or us e the appropriate AMD/Intel App to do it or motherboard specific software.
Safer and more reliable then a unknown software program.

Good to know but that does not solve the issue of finding out if this program did something to my cpu that I don't know about.

reinstall windows seems to be in order. there are so many things it could have done, it could have installed malware, modified registry replaced files who knows. For peace of mind reinstall
