Question Possibly a dumb question about limiting CPU cores

A while back I wanted to play Prototype and to play without crashing I had to limit my cores or do something with core affinity. The problem is I'm not sure what I did. It was a while ago and I don't know if I put everything back to default. My system configuration says the number of processors is 1 but its unchecked so is that fine? OpenHardwareMonitor seems to say the cores are being used. I'm not too sure on the core affinity stuff. I'm also doing a wipe of windows soon so would that reset any of those settings I messed around with? I have an i7-8700 on a Gigabyte Z390 UD and a 3070.

The proper and default setting for that is Unchecked.
All cores are in play.
