Possibly a dumb question about storage space and pools

So i bought 6TB of hard drives last year as it was on sale and I thought id never need that much, and while putting my system together, unknowingly, put it on two-way mirror thinking it was raid. While I do like what I have on this drive, Id rather have the full 6 TB of space over the safety of 3 TB but I just dont have any more space at this point.

Question is: Is there a way to remove one of the drives from this pool and make it a simple 6TB storage space without deleting everything on the drives?

No. Sorry. If you remove a drive, you break the mirror. All data is lost. You will need to back up your data before you remove the mirror.

Thats not, how mirror works.
If you break the mirror, you end up with 2 identical copies of same data, that are not synchronized anymore.

BTW mirror is raid (raid 1 to be exact).
