Bought my PC in February this year, it worked for a few months, then started crashing. At first occasional, then more and more frequent. Black screen, buzzing from speakers, force restart required.
Did some research, couldn't find anything, so I took it to a Best Buy. Did some tests, found that the graphics card was failing, and got it replaced, and it has been working perfectly ever since. This was in September.
A few days ago, a crash identical to the previous ones occurred. It's not happened since, though. I've only now realized, while gaming, an orange light appears next to the power light. I believe this light indicates that a significant amount of power is being used. I look at Task Manager, and all sorts of games now, under the "Power Usage" column, say "Very High."
Parts (based off the parts list):
Intel Core i7-9700KF
Crucial Ballistix 8GB DDR4 Memory (x2)
Asus Prime Z390-P ATX
AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT 8GB GDDR6
600 Watt Gold 80 Plus Power Supply
I've heard that a "bad" PSU can damage parts. Could this be the case?
