Question Possibly bricked motherboard

I have a z97s sli krait edition motherboard. I was having issues booting. The error was "reboot and select proper boot device." For a solution, I was told to restore my bios settings to default. After I did this, my computer has black screened and it won't recognize my keyboard or mouse. I've pulled all my hardware out and am getting no error beeps. Is it likely I bricked my motherboard? I installed a new gpu last night but it was working (rx 5700xt red dragon).

I restored it from the bios.

I also reset the cmos but I'm impatient and only waited 25 mins. I'm going to keep it out for the rest of the day.

Yes, I unplugged the power before I removed the cmos , so I could flush out the caps.

Not sure what went wrong. No beeps when starting the board with all RAMs removed (if internal speaker connected)?

Then board, or CPU, assuming that the power supply does work.
