Recently i helped a friend buying a new harddrive and when we installed it in one of the two SATA 6G (one of wich is already being used by the boot drive) it did not show up neither in the bios or windows. We then tried swapping the two cables and then windows wouldn't boot. We also tried all the SATA 3G connector but then it couldn't find any drivers for it. When we installed it in another pc it worked just fine.
