So my new pc boot but there is no signal in the screen. Everything else works, mouse keyboard and rest of the computer light up and work but the pc wont get past post screen so it just says no signal. I tried removing 1 ram and with both slots and it yields the same results. The thing that makes me suspect that the ram is that when i boot without RAM the exact same thing happens so it seems like the RAM is dead or something.
Ive built several PCs before but this has never happened to me.

The only way you could confirm it was the ram is if you had a known good stick of ram and it allowed the computer to boot.

Having the system not post without any ram just confirms that ram is needed for posting, not that ram is actually the problem in this case.

Having said that ram could very well be the problem.

Can you borrow a compatible DIMM from another computer to see if it works?

Also what are your computer's specs?

I tried a DVI and HDMI cable without any luck both connected to the gpu and not mobo. I mean that when i boot with 2 Rams of sticks i get the exact same results as without any Ram plugged in as if it wasnt recognized at all.

Specs:

Seagate Firecuda 1TB 7200rpm 64MB

be quiet! Pure Rock

ASUS PRIME B350M-A

AMD Ryzen 7 1700X 3.8 GHz 20MB

Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV ATX Svart

Crucial 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2400MHz CL16 Ballistix

Fractal Design Integra M 650W

Rx 480

Im aware that 2400mhz will bottleneck the ryzen but 3000+ is too expensive fyi

Your cheapest and quickest solution may be taking a trip to Bestbuy or similar local retailer to purchase the smallest DDR4 stick they have that is on the motherboard's QVL.

If it works you can either keep or return the DIMM you just purchased and then RMA your current faulty DIMMs.
