This is an anti-spam feature of the forum required on new members and members with minimal posting experience. It will go away as you gain experience.

And I can say that it's not just a feature used on this forum. I moderate elsewhere and the default behavior, that cannot be changed, is that the first message from any new member must be approved before they are "unleashed."

It saves an awful lot of grief and an awful lot of cleaning up after rapid serial spammers.

But I'm not a new member and one of my threads has disappeared.

Review can also be triggered by edits. I'm not sure what happened to other thread, not seeing it at all(even if it had been deleted I should be able to see it). Sorry, but it looks like you'll have to recreate it.

You are not however you have limited posting experience, so the software is still triggering it. The last time you were here was 2015 so it considers you like a new member. It will go away shortly.
