Anyone else noticed a few unnanounced features sneaked out in the recent
patch?

My house has acquired a wall tile which it didn't have before, which
effectively stopped me from reaching half of my roof. I had to call a GM
twice, once to rescue the plants which were wilting, and then had to call
again as she disappeared so fast. All she could suggest was to customise,
which I thought removed all decoration etc etc into a crate.
Surprise! Everything stayed as before...including the rogue tile, which
reappears as soon as you jump floors, or commit the design. (Now it seems
that you don't pay any cost to change your house, other than the material
cost, which is good I think.)
So I'll wait until SE comes along, in case it's to do with the new tiles you
can see in the custom menu, but it's damn weird.

The other oddity is the plant gumps in 3d... to press a button to water or
apply potion, you now have to press the area to the left hand side of the
button, or just inside it...accidentally applied 2 pots this morning,
clicking away like a madman!

So now the bugs appear BEFORE the release... I guess that's progress???

Yeah, this was announced some time back though. I think UOSE overshadowed
this particular feature.

Just wait until they start reverting shards before finding the bugs!

There was a bug in the original housing release where an "invisible
wall tile" would block off part of your house. The only way to remove
it was to tear the house down and start over. They fixed that so you
could see it and just customize it away. Sounds like the patch
introduced something similar.

I haven't seen that yet. If it's on an upper floor I suspect it's a
piece of the artwork from the floor below "bleeding through. See if
there's a wall under it, remove that, and see if it goes away.
