It would be very cool to have an "aftergame". Some sort of way of continuing
the game after you complete all the main quests. This game is closest to
that concept, but still, since by the time you finish, you are a demi-god,
why not have pilgrims come to your stronghold and ask tough questions, so
you could be like Solomon or a Sheikh? Or you could hear a new rumour about
another land. A game this good should be played forever, no? Maybe mention
it to Bethesda.......
I went to gamefaqs.com and found all kinda new quests. I had thought I
had all the artifacts. I was way wrong. There are MANY more! I just got the
Daedric Crescent Sword. I did not know it existed! As far as I know, it is
not in the guidebook. Lovely sword. My next quest is to find the Daedric
Face of God.

Both of those are in the guidebook, along with a LOT of other loot.

The other lands could easily be Mournhold and Frostmouth (sp?) if you want
them to be.

There are plenty of new guilds and new quests in the mods availible for
download.

And if you want to, there are plenty of things to do after winning. Ex. see
how quickly (in RL time minutes and seconds, not gamedays) you can
depopulate a city or region. Or go on a quest to soul trap 1 copy of every
single creature, a la pokemon.

Have fun!

Don't forget the White Guar that's part of a misc. Ahemmusa Camp quest.

Then there's the King Dreugh in the Koal Cave, and the Named Dremora in
the various Tribunal Temple Quests.

There are also numerous individually named Spirits/Ghosts you can
soultrap.

Then there are Normal, Diseased, and Blighted creatures, along with
things like Normal rats, Cave rats, Telvanni rats (found in the Telvanni
Canton sewers), Normal and Pack Guars, the Giant Netch (from a
Sheogorath quest), and others that have slipped my mind at this
moment...

And there are several named creatures including a couple of Guars with
individual names that can be soultrapped. I'm not sure that the Mudcrab
Merchant's soul would be listed as anything other than a Mudcrab, though
it might have a different value than a normal mudcrab. And I've never
tried to soultrap Creeper either.

And don't forget about the various named Dagoth's, however I've never
managed to soultrap Dagoth Ur even though I've tried several times,
though Vivec's soul can be soultrapped...

As for Vampires, I can't remember if any of them can be soultrapped or
not? 🙁

If nothing else, it's kind of fun collecting different souls from the
game. I like to think that the different Soul's in my soul gem
collection are a kind of Lasting Trophy of my various Kills in the Game.
Though there are some creatures like Corky the Guar that I like, and I
refuse to kill them just so I can add another soul to my collection, but
that's just me... Granted there are also a number of NPC's in the game
that I can't stand, and I Would LOVE to Soultrap them IF I could! (^_^)

That's my 2¢,

You have excellent ideas. While I have done SOME of the things you
suggested, many of your ideas are worth persuing. I have sub-quests to get
ALL artifacts, ALL enchanted items, all lanterns, buy back all gems, create
the perfect flying enchantment, get tons of those glowing flowers and line
paths with them, and so on. I don't wanna soul trap Vivec as it would make
the world a little more lonely, at least for me. Just me. A friend of mine
depopulated Sayda Neen in about two minutes. Many times I have killed all in
a given Mages guild by selling racer plumes. I stood there and took their
best until they were all dead. Never lifted a finger. They killed
tehmselves! But I always reloaded. I figured i may need the free
ransport. --dc

Creeper's soul is named "Creeper", fits in a petty soul gem. Only worth 100
or 200 drakes. Sigh.

When you go on killing sprees, if you line the people up right, sometimes
the spellcasters who attack you will kill your other enemies with their
ranged damage spells. It can be fun.

Pity you can't trap the souls of NPCs.

It's nice to know, however since Creeper has always been such a HUGE
Help to my Beginner Characters, I think I'll let him live and Keep all
the stuff I've sold him in various games. Besides, by the time money is
no longer important in a game, neither is the expensive stuff he's got
in his inventory... As for his Soul, if my collection was ever
complete, I wouldn't be able to enjoy it as much. ^_^

I'm not into killing sprees for their on sake. However I do make an
exception where the Camonna Tong are concerned, I REALLY Hate Them!

The glowing flower paths sound nice, however I'm not big on visiting
swamps to collect flowers. Though if I can find a merchant who sells a
constant supply of them, I might consider buying a few thousand glowing
flowers for some landscape beautification projects...

Right now:

I collect Unique Souls with a few exceptions, Creeper, Corky, Vivec,
etc... As of right now, I don't currently bother to collect sample
souls of each different Normal, Diseased, and Blighted creature I find,
however I may do that later...

I also collect candles, lanterns, bolts of cloth, spools of thread,
skulls, every artifact I can find/steal, lots of non-armor/weapon silver
stuff (plates, cups, etc...), rare beverages, one of each enchanted
items in the game, one of each complete sets of armor, one of each
non-iron weapons, one of each different clothing item, one of each
different rings & amulets, and possibly a few other things that have
slipped my mind as I write this...

I also try to add every common bottle, bowl and most common clothing
items I find to the inventory of recent kills of mine, to rid the world
of those items in a few game days time...

As for gems I don't collect them because some merchants restock gems
sold, though I do like to use them as decoration in my Balmora Private
Tower mod.

In the Future:

I am thinking about collecting as many torches as I can find and seeing
if there really is a limit to how high I can stack them one on top of
another towards the sky...

It might even be fun to try stacking junk armor or something else
underneath the Odai River bridge (near the Egg Mine), or in one of the
Foyada's to make my own dam.

Or rather than get rid of worthless junk, I could instead create a junk
mountain or land fill, or maybe a whole new island somewhere... A
pillow mountain or island might actually be a nice addition to my game
map in some future game. ^_^

>I don't wanna soul trap Vivec as it would make

I agree, I admire him Too! Besides since I've only got one soul gem
that can hold a God's soul, and I'd Much rather soultrap Animexia(?)'s
soul. ^_^

Heyya!!! I REALLY like your idea of a pillow mountain!! Oh yes. I
recall seeing, once, a very dirty pillow. I think I will start with that
one. A pillow mountain... heheh! Great idea.
Now-- I have not done all quests. I haven't done the junk collector
quest and several others. I have also messed up a key Twin lamps quest, so
now i cannot continue on that. I clicked the wrong answer! Dang!! Here I am
with rep of 105, and IQ of -5!!! LOL!!

As far as I know, one cannot soul trap humans, with the exception of
Alemexia, whom I trapped. But she was not really a human. She was a Dremora.
I have literally dozens of trapped souls, many of which I cannot use,
because i did not know how to lay out the stats. i have gotten much better
since. But as far as i am concerned, one only needs a few choice items, like
Amulet of shadows, Amulet of levitation, Eledion's Ward, Sunder, boots of
Blinding speed, the enchanted ebony armour gained from the four corners
quest, dwarven long bow, the endless arrows obtained from a Tribunal quest,
and the dwarven darts. I use these and a very few others alla time. Takes a
few seconds to scan along all the goodies i have, but i use only a few. I
like the ones i have made, using the enchanter at Ald'ruhn. A levitate
spell for 60 seconds, A fireball spell that lasts for 12 seconds, a shock
spell that lasts for 10 seconds, a soultrap that lasts for 30 seconds and
never fails, and several others. I plan on using the 1000 point acrobatic
scroll to jump from Morrowind to Solthsheim. Should be fun.

I thought of a better idea for a pillow mountain, a Floating Pillow
Mountain or Dome! ^_^

To Start create an arch of pillows from a middle of Balmora rooftop to
another middle of Balmora rooftop on the other side of the Odai River to
create an interesting effect. (This would be a good place to stop for
people who don't want to take forever creating something bigger...)

To continue the project, create another arch of pillows from a southern
building rooftop in Balmora to a northern rooftop on the other side of
the Odai River, crossing the first arch. Then create a 3rd arch of
pillows from a northern building rooftop in Balmora to a southern
rooftop in Balmora crossing the first 2 arches.

Then to keep things simple since you'll most likely be running out of
pillows by now, start removing the pillows from the base of each arch
and use them to fill in the gaps between the arches, STARTING at the Top
where the arches meet, working your way lower. Keep moving pillows from
the bottom of the arches to the next gap higher up until you run out of
pillow arches. By the time your arches have disappeared, you'll have a
pillow hill or dome floating over the center of Balmora or whichever
location you chose.

Once you finish, you can decorate your pillows with lights, candles or
glowing flowers for a lovely night time effect... ^_^

Have Fun!

In case you're interested, I remember reading about a mod (I can't
remember its name) that allows you to summon (for a limited time) the
creatures trapped in your soul gems.

find that dirty pillow and start from there.

I got the idea from stacking off centered books...

Just drop a pillow on the edge of a building or rock, then drop another
pillow on the top edge of the prior pillow sort of like this:
_
_
|
Then keep adding pillows until you've got your arch as high as you think
you'll need which should be a mid point between the place you started
from and the building/location top your arch will connect to. Then
start a second pillow arch from that location until your second arch
meets your first arch...

As for your dirty pillow, are you refering to the dark brown pillows
sometimes found on hammocks? If so, there are a fair number of them to
be found in the game.

Until later... ^_^
