I have two hard drives, one 500Gb ssd and one 2 Tb hdd I have arch linux installed on the ssd, and has been bootable for almost 2 years, and I've always dual booted into the hdd for the most part, or had it just as extra storage, but during a failed install of steam OS, during the install setup I made sure it didnt overwrite it disable my main OS, arch linux, although during the install that I did from a bootable usb/micro sd on a usb adapter I kept failing to install one portion that is what I very well assume was the kernel I decided to abort, and when I tried to boot back into my main the computer wouldn't post, wouldn't go past the bios splash screen, I came to the conclusion that it will only do this if I have the ssd plugged in
Things I've tried
-reset bios/cmos
-swap around ram
-enabling achi
-reading every forum post ever
Please help it is finals week, I need a computer, and it's stressing me out enough already
