Gave my wife an old build of mine. Looking for opinions on any areas that could use a facelift. She mostly plays WoW and Destiny 2, though is branching out.

Her MB does not have 5.0GHz wi-fi capability, which needs to be addressed. I see where I can get usb adapters for less than $20.

I thought of bumping up the processor to something like a Ryzen 7 2700X, which would need a new board (and I could address wifi/bluetooth then). I already plan on doing a clean install of Win 10 no matter what I do.

Any thoughts of if/how I could spiff the rig up a little? I'm set on the GPU. I can't get to the PSU at the moment, but I"m pretty sure it's a 650W corsair.

Thanks!

Either 3600 or 2700X would work fine, get whatever's cheaper or if she does some editing then the 2700X would be better due to the extra cores/threads. You should be able to reuse that CM EVO 212 as long as you get a AM4 bracket (if you bought that cooler pre-Ryzen).
