Question Potential Intel - GTX 1070 system?

Wasn't sure if this was the right place to post but I have a link to a potential first time build I want to do.

I did a bit of research for what I want and the games I wanted to play, potential to overclock and for it to last some time:

Your not going to overclock much on that cooler.
You dont need z390 for an 8600k.
Are you buying the 1070 used? They are pricy since they arent made anymore. Id suggest a gtx 1660ti instead.

When are you looking to buy? With the new Ryzen 3000 series arriving in about 1 month it is a shame to miss out on these, I'm not a fan of the i5 and if the new Ryzen do close the gap on IPC then the extra cores/threads for similar money will provide a much better setup. Some games are already making 6 core/thread cpu's work very hard.

There's a shop in the UK still selling them at around a similar price to the 1660Ti.

I think price isn't an issue for me. I'll change the motherboard though if it isn't compatible with the CPU?

I think I want to stick with intel for this build.

I should probably change the cooler too.. Or maybe just not worry about overclocking.

Z390 is compatible, but Z370 is a little cheaper and will work just as well for 8th gen.
Id suggest a 240mm aio for overclocking.
