had the computer for a couple of years now. was wondering what the best upgrades would be for my PC. I love gaming but I'm not too knowledgable on the tech side. would it be easy to upgrade or easier to get a new rig and sell mine to a friend? any kind of information is welcomed.

If you're content with your performance, why upgrade?
You could upgrade to a i7 7700k, but with a price of around $275 on the used market, it'd be best to build on a new platform.

Rumors have it that intel will be switching to a new socket very soon thus ending upgrades for the current 3xx series chipsets.
AMD has come back and is very viable, a ryzen 3600 is very fast, 6 cores, 12 threads and is $195, pair that with an b450 motherboard and you'll have a new platform for about the same price of a 7700k.

From there you can choose whatever gpu you desire like a gtx 1660S or a rtx 2060/2070/2080. An rx5700 is good as well but tends to come with problems more for the tech savvy.

What psu model do you have?
