Potential upgrade/ Hardware compatibility

Looking to upgrade CPU as badly needed and long overdue.

Current spec is:

MB - Gigabyte z68AP D3 LGA1155 socket
CPU - Intel i3 2120 3.3ghz
GPU - GeForce GTX 770
Ram - 16Gb

Looking to move up to i7. Not clued up on overclocking to be honest so what is the best cpu i can incorporate without having to upgrade parts etc. On a budget of around £200-£250

Usage is for gaming.

Core i7-3770K. Update your bios first to the latest one now before you even buy the CPU. Since you're not overclocking the non k 3770 would do just as good.
