Question PotPlayer problem after moving to a another residence ?

I'm having a problem with PotPlayer media player. Recently, I moved from one residence to another. I removed my graphics card and cooler for the move. After putting my computer back together, my PotPlayer app wouldn't work. It starts slowly, has no audio, and the video freezes after about 20 seconds. The audio is fine in other apps. Videos play normally in VLC and Windows Media Player. I've tried removing and reinstalling PotPlayer and the codecs. It still doesn't work. What could cause this problem?

Have you tried re-seating your GPU? Maybe re-seat your RAM while you are at it.

Just tried both. No luck. Still the same problem.

When PotPlayer fails try looking in Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer.

Either one or both tools may be capturing some error code, warning, or even an informational event just before or at the time of the failures.

If it worked before the move, and stopped working after the move where the hardware was probably shaken, vibrated, in addition to removing the GPU and cooler, then I'd say it's very likely a hardware issue and not a software one.

The thing that throws me off is that audio works in other applications. Maybe wiggle the sound ports around a bit and check for loose cables. It's about all that I can think of.
