What should be the power (package) for an i7-4790 while playing game and operating at max clock speed?

Do you mean it's approx TDP? I'd guess it's a 65 watt TDP CPU if not a K variant...; probably about the same in power draw in watts.

i7-4790 TDP is 84W, but typical power consumption isn't usually that high. Probably around 65W.
