So me being the unluckiest person alive, the one time i forgot to properly turn off my pc the power went out and now the pc doesnt wanna turn on again. The power supply seems to be fine since its led turns on like normal, however when i try to turn on the pc the motherboard flashes for a second then turns off. More specifically, the cpu q led on the motherboard flashes for a second and turns off. Does this mean theres a problem with the cpu? Or is the problem with the motherboard?
Ive already tried disconnecting and reconnecting the cpu and power supply cables but nothing seems to change. Is there anything else i could be trying? Or is my <expletive deleted> just fried? And if it is fried i would still like to know what hardware specifically got fried.
Motherboard: gigabyte z370xp sli
Cpu: intel i5 8600k
