I have a Dell OptiPlex 7010 that will not post nor give video but powers on and runs the fan at normal speed with the normal white power light (no amber and no beeps). I have unplugged all peripherals, swapped ram, tested ram slots, taken out vid card with and without, removed the ssd, taken out cmos battery, reset jumpers, tested different monitors, reseated everything but the cpu and am out of ideas. All I did was replace a bad ssd. I put the background below if anyone is interested in reading it.
I noticed it also wants to start and shuts down a few times before it starts and stays started, but no vid or post beeps or amber lights, just the fans running and a white light.
I just replaced a bad ssd on. I put in the new ssd, loaded Win10 with no problems and then tried one last try at repairing the old SSD in hopes to get the data. I was able to get the old SSD to clone via Acronis USB recovery tool on boot. At the end of the clone there was an error on data that it gave the option to ignore. I have seen this error many times and ignored with no issues on other ssd's and hdd's. Then cloning completed. I restarted and received the same W10 error (INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE) I received from the old ssd install which initiated this whole thing.
