Question Power button won't work

Hi recently installed my new X470 gaming M& AC damn it was a pain, when it was all put together the power button didn't work and I died a little inside. However there was a tiny power button and reset button on the MOBO. I pressed power and it booted up. And I installed windows ect ect. However its going to be annoying having to use this tiny button instead of my power button. How do I get my power button working. I reconnected all the wires my old mobo had in them.. Not sure why it isn't working. Any ideas?

No was working with my old mobo fine and like I said i connected everything to new one
