Hey guys quick question and hopefully an answer that is possible. I haven't had to deal with power supplies much since my father handed me a 1000w and I've never had to look past that (for now). Anyway just recently purchased a GTX 980 and I need help identifying the power cables needed for it. The power supply I have is modular and has a few 6 pin and 8 pin ports. So my question is what is the power cable I'd need for the GTX 980, is it possible to purchase that cable by itself, and if the other two aren't possible will the cables they come with be sufficient?
