Power cable - How many components is too much on one cable/dongle?

Hello,

I have a 1000w power supply and was wondering if it is OK to hook up Blu-Ray Burner, and two 1TB hard drives to one Cable/Dongle that has 3 Sata connectors on it. below is are the hard drives.

Also it is ok to hook up two ATI 5770 Sapphire Vapor-X in crossfire setup to one cable/dongle that has a 6 pin and one 6pin+2pin, or should they have their own cable. Each video card requires one 6 pin connector.

Each power connector has a max power that it is expected to deliver, as long as you arent using splitters or adapters to get additional connectors off of a string you can use all of the connectors on it without needing to worry.

They wouldnt have put 3 SATA power connectors on the string if it couldnt power all of them safely, same with the PCI-E connectors.

Would it be ok to use an male to female 10 inch extension on the hard drives.(not a y connector) for the two of the hard drives. See link below - the top item on the page.

The main reason for tha tis my power cables are so stiff, and I don't have alot of room.

Yeah the extensions are fine, they dont add any significant load.

1000w PSU, stick what you want on it, that's serious power there in your PC.
