Right... so I was building 2 systems simultaneously to flip, I bought a hx650 psu from eBay which had no power cable and tested the components out of the case using the first builds cable and it powered and posted, no probs.
I sold the first one with the power cable. Then a couple days later I put the 2nd build in its case and had to use my current machines power cable which is just an optiplex with a 1050ti in it. It wouldn't power on.
Removed it from the case back to square one, still wouldn't power on
Took out cmos for 15 mins and replaced
Reset the cmos
Green light is on motherboard
Still no power, is it because the optiplex cable isn't powerful enough for the hx650 psu? What cable should I buy for it? I literally know nothing about amperes or volts etc
I don't wanna just order a random cable off eBay if it won't work
