My video card has been giving me some green screens and losing connection to the monitor, so I'm sending it in for a replacement. I have the powercolor r9 380 which has 2x6 pin requirement. My EVGA 550W came with a cable that splits into a 6pin and a 2+6pin, shown on the bottom. Can I just use that one cable to hook up to the gpu or should I use two cables and only use one of the heads on the cable along with a regular 6pin?
I was only using the one cable before and wasn't sure if that was causing the problem; the card is one month old and wasn't overheating or dusty.
