The title should be pretty self explanatory. I have a gold rated corsair 750w psu that I purchased in preparation for an upgrade to my system. I plan on either placing a 780 or 780ti in my system, as well as a whole new CPU because I currently only have a 4 core 3.0.

Could my gold rated 750w handle such an upgrade to an 8 core 4k with a 780?

What makes you think it can't?

If you want the math, I think the TI/Black is rated at 250W. So a 250W GPU, a 125W CPU, and some normal parts in a system comes to 425W. No where near what a 750W PSU can do. You can heavily OC both the CPU and the GPU and still be fine.
