Greetings to you all
I have an average rig, with the FX-8320 for CPU on an GA970A Mainboard, a HD7770 for GPU and 8GB of RAMs, I also have a 2.5" 7200RPM 500GB HDD and a DVD-ROM drive. My PSU is a Zalman 500W
What I want to ask you guys is that if I want to upgrade my GPU, will I also need to upgrade my PSU? My current 3 options for GPU is the AMD HD 7870, HD 7970 and HD 7990
I'd appreciate any answer and advice on how to better customize my computer. My goal for the time being is to play video games for the next 5 years

You would need an upgrade for the HD 7990. The 7970 is a tight fit, but without overclocking it should be okay on a 500W power supply. The 7870 is no problem.

I wouldn't recommend the 7990 anyway. If you want high performance, check out the R9 290 or GTX 970.
