Hi,

I was looking into building a portable TV cast, but I am unsure of the power aspects of this.
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to power an LCD Controler board, 15.6inch LED screen, Chrome cast with a 26800mAh and speakers using a 26900 mAh portable charger?
If it is possible, then how long roughly will the power last for?

I am looking at using the following components:

Anker Power Bank, 26800mAh Portable charger:

LCD Controller Board: (9V-24V)

15.6" HD LED 30pin

Chrome Cast Stick (5 V, 1 A power supply )

Moister proof speakers (80W)

If you have all this already available - invest in Kill-A-Watt, and measure. The ratings in the specs are usually (way to) conservative. I'd say that speaker would be the most hungry device, if you ever manage to power it from USB powerbank.

Hi,

Just had a look at Kill-A-Watt, but it appears to be one you plug into a wall. As my setup is through a powerbank, how would this work?

The first issue I see, what are you going to power the speakers with? They need an amp.

Second, the controller board is for "Driver Board for 7inch AT070TN92 800x480 LCD Display" which is very different than the screen you plan on getting.

Third, the power bank has USB power out, the board does not have USB power in.

Fourth, the USB power outputs 5V, the board is rated for "Input voltage: 9V-24V"

Fifth, what are you going to use for an audio output to the speakers even if you could power them? Nothing on your list has an audio out to the speakers.

Nothing you have there will work together.

Why not get a used laptop for about 100-200 and use that? Everything built in and together already. Or a tablet /2-1 or a chromebook? Used Chromebook, powered bluetooth/aux in speaker, for about the same cost as the non-compatible parts you picked you will have a working setup.
