I am having problems with my SSD, every now and then when im playing Arma 3 or even internet surfing once (7-8 tabs open). It is rare but it is still happening more than i would like. Makes my computer restart to BIOS and that is not what i like. Not at all.

I have some questions about power cycling.
I have been reading about being able to disconnect something while power cycling? Leaving only the cord to the mobo hooked up? or the one going to the PSU?

Already found where to do firmware updates just need power cycling explained a lil more.

Thanks;

Solution
Hey Behtman. You could try this and it should do the job (note that the whole procedure will take up to an hour):
1. Once you have the drive connected and sitting idle, simply power on the computer and wait for 20 minutes. Don't use the computer during this process. (if you are using a laptop you will need to be in the BIOS menu instead)
2. Power the computer down and disconnect the drive from the power connector for 30 seconds.
3. Reconnect the drive, and repeat steps 1 and 2 one more time.
4. Reconnect the drive normally, and boot the computer to your operating system.

After that you should update the firmware.

Hope that helps.
