Hi everyone. I recently built a new pc, specs are as follows...
Intel core i5 10400F
MSI MAG B460M Bazooka MOBO
16gb HyperX RGB Ram
MSI GTX 1050ti
256gb M.2 for OS only
500gb SSD for game storage
Seasonic S12 500w PSU
Gamemax Black hole case with 7 RGB Fans.

Now the pc performs fantastically, very fast and responsive, plays my games very well, couldn't be happier.
My issue is that when I switch the pc on, I press the power button on the case and there is a 2/3 second gap where nothing happens and then everything springs to life. Not a huge issue but certainly not something I've encountered before. Originally I had an aerocool 600w integrator PSU which I presumed was the cause so I swapped for a seasonic, however the issue remains. I have checked all headers on mobo and everything is seated as it should be. I've updated bios as well and problem still persists...any ideas?? It's worth noting that this only happens when pc is switched on having been off for sometime, if I switch on pc from a warm state it fires up instantly. Almost as if pc is gathering power before starting up.

Many thanks in advance.

Hi, im getting this same issue after I installed a New CPU cooler and all of a sudden it takes 10 to 15 seconds for the pc to get power and before it was instant start, I tried securing all my power cables and it went back to instant start when pushing the power button but then I moved my pc the other day and plugged it back in and the pc is doing it again, any help, not sure if my power supply is going bad or something.

ryzen 5 5600x
tuf b550 plus motherboard
16gb ddr4 3200
gtx 1660 super
512 gb nvme ssd
2 tb hdd
700 evga br
zalman cnps16x cpu cooler

Hi, I am giving a update on my similar issue that might help some people out, the reason my pc was taking 10 to 15 seconds to power on after the power button was that my motherboard had a bios flashback button that was getting stuck on the io shield so i just got a drill bit and make the hole for the bios flashback button bigger and now my pc starts up normally.

When having this kinda of strange behaviors is also a good idea to remove any non-essential usb devices like flash drivers, hdd, sounds cards, VR devices, etc. And see if that fix the issue.
