I read somewhere that motherboard from prebuild pc have a limited power draw for the component connected to it because it use a non standard motherboard pin like 8 pin and 14 pin which mean it limit the performance of your component especially cpu and gpu, is this correct? For me this is makes sense because the reduction of pin connected to the motherboard mean lesser power can be moved from the power supply no matter how big the power supply wattage is.

Looking up online this type of motherboard usually sell at a cheaper price compared to consumer level motherboard using the standard 24 pin.

"...there are lots of pre builds that use completely normal hardware and has no limitation at all."
Yes, i'm aware of it, not all prebuild pc use non standard motherboard power pin.

"It can happen but it is not standard,..."
I think i got it, basically what you are saying is it might be possible that the motherboard power pin have nothing to do with the power draw limitation, interestingly i did some research by googling the part number, IIRC acer veriton x4630g limiting its 16x pcie port to only maximum 40w
