I was gaming and my GPU, mobo and CPU were in the 70~75C range for around 30 minutes. Then the computer made a loud shrill noise and then my screen went black.
The computer made its shutting down noise but the fans kept running. I could also tell my wifi adapter was still taking power from the USB ports since it was flashing, but otherwise the computer seemed like it was off.
I played around with the power and restart buttons, but they had no effect. I was scared to pull the cord so I just left it on. After 10 minutes the fans stopped running on their own. When I turn hit the power button, the fans spin for 3 seconds and then stop spinning. After hitting the power button a few times, the fans would not spin at all.
At this point, the computer does not turn on at all.
So I'm positive their is a PSU failure at the very least. What I'm wondering if my GPU, mobo and CPU are still okay? Is there anyway to know if their fried without testing them with a power supply?
The current computer I'm on has a 300w PSU that's 7 years so I'm not going to be able to test the components with a PSU.
Can anyone tell me if my system would be fried from the above the description and my system specs?

Na sounds like its just the PSU, I had one go once and a blue spark and smoke started pouring out.
