Hello, at my house there is something wrong with the electrical system. When i power on to much things the power shuts off..

The problem is that my pc is on for 24/7 and inside there are 3 x 2TB HDD's.

My question is now, when i have power failures when the pc is powered on, will that decrease the lifespan of the hard drives?

Luckily i didn't had any smart of chkdsk errors... i also did a full sector scan without any errors. It happened already 10 times the last 3 months

bad power in your house not only can kill hard drive..lose of power can cause a head crash...you can burn out power supplys and motherboards. if your house has fuses or it even older than that i would start looking into rewiring your home. if your home does have fuses or a reg breaker panel. it could be that instead of putting in more breakers or a side panel the home owner before you connected more then one line to a breaker. if your house build from 1960 on start with having the power company check the wires going to your home and the wires under the meters.
