Power goes out when i turn on PSU

Every time when i turn on the PSU in my Pc the power goes out. I have an Corsair RM650x. I just want to know how to fix this and if this can hurt my pc?

What power? The power at the outlet it is plugged into?

no the part of the house it is plugged in to

Either there is something wrong with the PSU or you have a nearly over-loaded circuit at your breaker panel. Try the PC on a different circuit; see if the same thing happens.
