Power in pc after shutdown

Hello,

My pc is still getting power after I shut it down on Windows 10, I can hear possibly the psu still running and my microphone light and motherboard lights stay lit. They eventually go off after a few minutes of unplugging the main power cable from the pc. Would prefer not to have to do this every night as it’s a bit of a pain. The problem started since replacing my motherboard with a gigabyte one with an i7 Kaby lake cpu.

Are you sure the power supply is still on? When the computer is off 5volts will still be going to the USB headers ect.

I'm not certain its on but something inside the computer is on as it sounds like a fan running slowly and all the fans I can see are still.
