Hi

I want to make a portable power station. Is ther a way I can disable the surge protection on the outlets of a power Inverter ? I want to use my UPS battery back up for my pc.

I am confused about the question/problem.

What is the reason or reasoning behind disabling surge protection?

More details needed.

Can you provide some line diagram of how you intend to connect everything?

For example:

Power -----> UPS backup unit ---> power inverter------> devices?

Correct my line diagram and include component makes, models, and specs.

Normally the PC is just plugged into the UPS and the UPS handles surge protection and power to the PC if there is an electrical outage.

Not sure about the power inverter requirement......

ok

power(12v deep cycle battery's) ---> power inverter----> UPS backup unit------> devices

so the power inverter has surge protector also the UPS has surge protector. Is not safe to have a surge protector pluged in to a surge protector.

I question the need for a UPS in there. Are you doing it in case the inverter fails? Or for line conditioning qualities that the UPS provides? Because otherwise you're basically just using one battery to charge another battery.
