[SOLVED] Power issue

Hey all, I have a PC with a MSI M7 mobo and Corsair rm850.

Computer ran fine last night. Turned it off and unplugged it when I went to bed because of bad storms.

Now it won’t turn on at all. The mobo is getting power, the PSU tested normal, put a brand new cmos, tested the ram one stick at a time. Still it won’t boot. Neither the case button or mobo button do anything.

Anybody have any suggestions or ideas?

Thanks

Did you flip the switch on the back of the PSU to the ON position?
if its is already there. Turn it off & unplug it. Wait a minute then plug it back in and then turn it on.

We had some Lenovo's that did that. When the power goes out and then comes back on we had to unplug the cord from the wall and the back of the pc and then plug the cord back into the PC before plugging it into the wall. They have some circuit in them that blocks power from going thru if the cord has power when it is plugged into the PC. Needless to say we got rid of those. LoL
