Power issues

I have an Acer that has started not powering up. I turn the power on, the computer comes on [the little blue light is on], and then the pc turns off after about 1-2 seconds. Never had this sort of problem. Is the power supply bad and if not what might be?

Try your outlet, maybe the fuse is blown?? Or maybe your psu just died -_-

Not the outlet since there is power and anything else plugged in works. Just hoping it's not the psu.

I have a computer with an Intel board that is having the same problem. I've tried two different power supplies, tried disconnecting the power switch and connect across the pins to start, took out the motherboard and put it in another case, changed out the memory, and disconnected every peripheral and all drives except one. Still does not boot.

The computer was working fine and just shut down one night when nobody was on it. Is there any way to test further?
