Power LED blinks for one hour before laptop gets start

My laptop Sony vaio (VPCS111FM) recently started giving trouble in starting. when i press power button all the LEDs (power,num lock,caps lock,Scroll lock) will keep flashing at every 3 second interval for abut an hour and then laptop starts. some times this time may be less and some times it is even more. i have done the following things but still the problem continues.

1. Battery is one year old and in perfectly working condition ( 2 hours back up)
2. Power adapter is in perfect working condition ( checked by multi meter)
3. I have done power draining from mother board by holding the power button for a minute with both battery and power adapter removed.
4. Recently got thermal paste and stickers replaced by a certified technician ( after this problem got started)
5. checked with fully charged battery, only with power adapter ( without battery) and with both power adapter and the battery.
6. did factory reset of the laptop ( though i strongly believe the problem is not of software)
7. No hardware changes since the purchase

despite all the above my laptop still giving me trouble in starting.

Sounds like a motherboard issue related power being received, either too high or low, check motherboard schematics and power requirements against that of your power adapter of the laptop. Also check what bios you have and if there are any bios updates for the laptop, hopefully bios update will be an easy fix.

The Sony manual should spell out what the flashes mean. Is flashing you a diagnostic code.

If nothing in manual shoot Sony tech support an email. Such specific question shouldn't require that you are still on warranty. Just don't ask them to troubleshoot it for you, just ask, "what flashes all LEDs every 3 seconds signifies?)

Hey all thanks for you guys earliest response. My laptop is running on H2O bios which i have updated but still problem continues. I am also waiting for vaio team response, i couldnt find any document which explains blink patterns. " one more thing i want to add is it only taking time for starting up but once started i can do any number of restarts within short time gap.
